No personal data such as name, address, date of birth are read out for FIDO authentication. Only the so-called pseudonym is requested for the derivation of the key. FIDELIO does not save any data. On Android, use with U2F-compatible websites in combination with the Chrome browser and Mozilla Firefox with the plugin https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/webauthn-eid-for-firefox/ is currently possible. FIDELIO joins the Google Authenticator with its connection to FIDO U2F NFC and BLE (Bluetooth) tokens.The use of the new ID card with FIDO has the advantage of an integrated holder verification using eID-PIN instead of simply having the token, as well as the possibility of blocking in the event of theft and loss through the central blocking hotline 116 116.The source code of the app is licensed under EUPL1.1 and a released version can be viewed at https://gitlab.com/adessoAG/FIDELIO/FIDELIOApp.NOTES: In a cell phone, the NFC function MUST be available AND switched on. The app cannot "conjure" NFC where there is none.
